Owners are also obliged, by law to register the passports of clients who stay who stay in the property (over the age of 16 years)

All Holiday Rental properties that are registered with the Junta de Andalucia and have received their VFT or CTC number must now register with their local Police or Guardia Civil station (Hospederias app). Passport details of all guests over the age of 16 must be logged with the police, on line, within 24 hours of the arrival.
Under the new law, any property registered with the Junta de Andalucia must also be registered with the police and passport details submitted.
Failure to register with the Junta De Andalucia carries a minimum fine of €3000 and failure to register with the police is a criminal offence. Fines have already been served by the police to unregistered owners and also owners who published fake VFT numbers. https://goo.gl/jshZlJ
Registration involves making an appointment with the correct Police Station, that covers the location of your property, and presentation of the appropriate documents.
